KOROVIN KONSTANTIN: (1861-1939) Russian impressionist Painter. One of his best known paintings being the portrait of Feodor Chaliapine. A good A.L.S., Korovin, one page, 4to, Gurzuf private house, 7th June 1915, to Miron Isakovich, in Cyrillic. Korovin states in part `I remember Sevastopol, your wonderful music, the market, smoked and other types of fish, which were far easier to paint than probably to catch. All those fishes were sold for even more than boots are sold for. Although new boots are very beautiful, and all those who buy them will certainly stop to take a look at their new boots.
