ZWEIG STEFAN: (1881-1942) Austrian Playwright and Novelist, a noted collector of autograph manuscripts. T.L.S., Stefan Zweig, on one side of a plain postcard, Lyncombe Hill, Bath, 4th February 1940, to Olga Torbe. Zweig states that he found his correspondent's letter upon his return from London and regrets that he has been invited elsewhere on Wednesday, adding 'But if you phone at the end of this week we can perhaps arrange something for next Sunday if you are free then'.
