GUISAN HENRI: (1874-1960) Swiss General during WWII. Last officer to be appointed General and Switzerland´s most famous soldier. An excellent signed and inscribed postcard photograph by Guisan, `Gen. Guisan´, the image showing Swiss General outdoors, standing in a full length pose wearing his military uniform. Signed and inscribed in bold black fountain pen ink to a clear area at the base of the image, also dated 11th April 1947 in his hand. The photograph also bears a light purple ink stamp ''General Guisan''. EX
