[FERDINAND VII]: (1784-1833) King of Spain 1808 & 1813-33. D.S., Yo el Rey, one page, folio, Isla de Leon, Cadix, 30th November 1810, to the Viceroy of Nueva Espana, in Spanish. The partially printed document is the appointment of Juan Batista Guerra, from the infantry regiment of Valladolid, as commander of the fourth company of the second battalion. The King addresses this appointment to the Viceroy of New Spain, the remaining American territories in Mexico and part of what today´s date is the United States belonging to the Kingdom of Spain. Stamped signature. Countersigned by Pedro de Agax. And Jose de Heredia. With paper seal affixed to the front. Overall age wear and few stains, mostly to edges.
