ALEXANDRA OF DENMARK: (1844-1925) Queen of the United Kingdom 1901-10, consort of King Edward VII. A.L.S., Alexandra, two pages, 8vo, n.p., n.d. (c.1914-18), to an unidentified correspondent, on the dowager Queen's personal black and silver monogrammed mourning stationery. The Queen Mother writes, in full, 'I send 12 dressing gowns & 6 pillows for the officers. If they like the little pillows for the war as they are easily carried without the outside covers'. With blank integral leaf (very slight traces of former mounting to the right edge of the verso). VG
