MUSSOLINI BENITO: (1883-1945) Italian Fascist Dictator of World War II. Executed. Rare A.L.S., `Mussolini´, one page, 4to, mourning paper, n.p. [Rome], 21st January 1926, on the Prime Minister´s printed stationery, to Farinacci, in Italian. The letter bears the printed heading ''Il Capo del Governo'' (''The Chief of Government''). Mussolini, in his capacity as Prime Minister of Italy 1922-43, states `Dear Farinacci, tomorrow, Friday, meeting of the Directory at the Palazzio Chigi. I have also invited Rossoni.´ Mussolini concludes with the fascist salute `Saluti Fascisti´, also dated at the base in his hand. A bold black ink autograph letter with large writing. With blank integral leaf. Paper with attractive ''Ludovica'' watermark. Few very small tears to the edges, not affecting the text or signature. VG Roberto Farinacci (1892-1945) Italian Fascist Politician. Secretary of the National Fascist Party 1925-26. Executed. The letter on mourning paper is due to the decease of Margherita of Savoy (1851-1926) Queen consort of the Kingdom of Italy as spouse of King Umberto I, and mother of King Vittorio Emmanuel III.
