A rare signed prayer by Klaproth, one page, 14 x 9.5,, the document showing a lengthy Chinese prayer with over 150 ink handwritten Chinese characters. Signed in bold black fountain pen ink `Chinese Prayer, J.H Klaproth´), to a clear area at the base of the document. The prayer leaf has been neatly and lightly affixed to the inside of a larger double 4to page. VG £250-350
