LUBITSCH, BOYER & JONES: Ernst Lubitsch (1892-1947) German Film Director, Academy Award winner. Charles Boyer (1899-1978) French-American Actor. Four times nominated to the Academy Best Actor award & Jennifer Jones (1919-2009) American Actress. Academy Award winner. Multiple signed 8 x 10 photograph by Lubitsch, Boyer and Jones, the unusual promotional image showing them presenting the Twentieth Century-Fox 1946 film Cluny Brown, a satire on the smugness of British high society. The image shows the three artists in full length pose, Lubitsch alongside his film Director chair, and Boyer and Jones getting out of a large Cluny Brown novel by Margery Sharp. Signed in bold and green inks to clear areas of the image. Cluny Brown was the last film Lubitsch completed. VG
