PIUS VI: (1717-1799) Pope of the Roman Catholic Church 1775-99. Rare and attractive L.S., `Pius P.P. VI´, a bold black ink signature, one page, folio, Palace of Vatican, 20th February 1783, to Domenico Nardini, in Italian. A very cleanly written letter, the Pope requesting that his correspondent and general administrator and procurator of the private patrimony `..vi piacerá di far pagare alli seguenti nostri Ministri in ogni mese, incominciando dal corrente mese di Febraro, e cosi proseguire da mese in mese fino anuovo ordine in contratio, come in appreso..´ (''..you will please pay the following Ministers, each month, starting from the current month of February, and continue from month to month until new order is given agains this one..´ The document further lists four names and their posts, including `Abate Giuseppe Pecci Curiale per onorario
