LITVINOV & HULL: LITVINOV MAXIM (1876-1961) Russian Revolutionary, Soviet Ambassador to the United States 1941-43 & HULL CORDELL (1871-1955) American Politician, United States Secretary of State 1933-44. Nobel Peace Prize winner, 1945. A good vintage signed sepia 9.5 x 7.5 photograph by both Litvinov and Hull individually, the image depicting the two men seated in half length poses together at a table. Photograph by Harris and Ewing. Signed by Litvinov and Hull in bold fountain pen inks with their names alone to clear areas of the background. Rare in this form. Provenance: The present photograph was previously part of the famous collection built by Rev. Cornelius Greenway of Brooklyn, New York, and loosely contained in a plain paper folder bearing his pencil annotations (and those of others).
