SHEARER NORMA: (1902-1983) Canadian Actress, Academy Award winner. Vintage signed and inscribed sepia 9.5 x 12.5 photograph of Shearer in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Clarence Sinclair Bull and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed in fountain pen ink to a light area of the image, 'To Dorothy Plunkett, with very best regards from Norma Shearer'. Some light mottling to the image and a couple of very minor stains. Together with a second vintage signed and inscribed 10.5 x 13.5 photograph of Shearer in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Marie Antoinette from the 1938 film of the same name. Photograph by Laszlo Willinger and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed in fountain pen ink to a light area of the image, 'To Patrick - with good wishes from Norma Shearer'. The signature is somewhat faded although legible. A few light creases and minor stains. About VG, 2
