EISENHOWER DWIGHT D.: (1890-1969) American General of World War II. American President 1953-61. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Eisenhower in a head and shoulders pose wearing his General's five-star rank uniform. Signed to the lower white border in fountain pen ink, 'To Congressman Wingate H. Lucas, with best wishes to a distinguished citizen from the state of my birth, Dwight D Eisenhower'. Neatly mounted to a board. The ink is a touch faded although remains perfectly legible. Some very light, extremely minor age wear to the edges, about VG Wingate H. Lucas (1908-1989) American Congressman from Texas 1947-55.
