WORLD LEADERS: An exceptionally rare 8vo page removed from an autograph album multiple signed by eleven world leaders comprising Haile Selassie I (1892-1975) Ethiopian Regent 1916-30 and Emperor 1930-74; Princess Tsehai Haile Selassie (1919-1942) Daughter of Haile Selassie I (a rare signature as a result of her untimely death at the age of 22); Abdul Hamid II (1842-1918) Sultan of the Ottoman Empire 1876-1909, the last Sultan to exert effective control over the fracturing state; Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein (1882-1951) King of Jordan 1946-51, the founder and ruler of the Jordanian realm who, with T. E. Lawrence and his brother King Faisal, led the successful Arab revolt against the Turks in World War I; Alfonso XIII (1886-1941) King of Spain 1886-1931; George II (1890-1947) King of the Hellenes who ruled Greece from 1922-24 & 1935-47; Prince Bertil (1912-1997) Duke of Halland, heir presumptive to the Swedish throne 1973-79; Paul I (1901-1964) King of Greece 1947-64; Olav V (1903-1991) King of Norway 1957-91; Robert, Archduke of Austria-Este (1915-1996) Second son of Karl I, the last Emperor of Austria-Hungary; and Philippe d'Albert de Luynes (1905-1993) French Aristocrat, Duke of Luynes.
