PUCCINI GIACOMO: (1858-1924) Italian Composer. A fine and attractive A.M.Q.S., `Giacomo Puccini´, a bold black ink signature to the front of an Italian postcard showing a Puccini image in a head and shoulders pose alongside a printed text related to the Italian musical maestros. Above his signature, Puccini has penned a three bars musical quotation which he entitles and underlines `La Boheme´, 18th October 1902. The musical quotation corresponds to the opening measures of Mimi´s aria `Mi chiamano Mimi..´ To the verso the postcard is addressed to Etterina Ferrabini in Livorno, postmarked and stamped. Matted in green. G
