The clipped piece has been neatly affixed to a 4to page removed from an album, beneath a printed image of William Pitt also affixed. Together with SPENCER PERCEVAL (1762-1812) British Prime Minister 1809-12. Assassinated. Signed free front envelope, as Prime Minister, oblong 8vo, addressed in Perceval´s hand to David Gordon, Belfast, and dated in London, 6th September 1811 in his hand too. Signed ('Sp Perceval') to the lower left corner. Also bearing a red ink free post stamp to the front. With remnants of former affixing to the verso. Very slightly irregularly trimmed. G, 2 £100-150
