PALME OLOF: (1927-1986) Swedish Statesman and Prime Minister 1969-76 & 1982-86. Assassinated. & PALME LISBET (1931- ) Widow of Olof Palme. A.N.S., Olof Palme, and Lisbet Palme, one page, large drawing folio, n.p., 21st June 1983, the letter being a tribute to Josip Tito. Palme, in her capacity as Prime Minister of Sweden, states in full `In memory of a man of Peace, of cooperation and of conciliation.´ A bold blue ink signature by Palme. EX £150-200 Josip Broz Tito (1892-1980) Yugoslav Revolutionary and Statesman. He gained further international attention as the chief leader of the Non-Aligned Movement. Widely considered a soft dictator, but also a unifying symbol bringing peace and coexistence.
