MUSSOLINI BENITO: (1883-1945) Italian Fascist Dictator of World War II. D.S., `Mussolini´, one page, folio, Rome, 21st January 1934, in Italian. The partially printed document is a disciplinary order signed by Mussolini in his capacity as Minister of war, bearing the printed heading “Ministro della Guerra”, according to which Mussolini replenish in full his military grade and rights to infantry Captain Silvio di Giuseppe Galante, having been first `…condannato (col beneficio della condizionale) a 5 mesi di detenziones per bancarotta semplice´ (“…sentenced (with the benefit of parole) to 5 months' imprisonment for simple bankruptcy”) further explaining his new situation `Poiché dagli atti giudiziari e dale informazioni dei Carabinieri Reali, risulta che il Galante, incorse nel dissesto fallimentare che provocó la condanna, senza sua copla…´ (“Since from the judicial documents and from the information of the Carabinieri, it appears that Galante incurred in the bankruptcy crisis that caused the sentence, without being his fault..”) The document bears a watermark.
