RIBBENTROP JOACHIM VON: (1893-1946) German politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nazi Germany 1938-45. T.L.S., Joachim Ribbentrop, one page, 8vo, Berlin, 4th April 1938, to Maxence, in German. Ribbentrop states that, due to an overload of work, he is only able today to thank his correspondent for their kind congratulations on his appointment. Ribbentrop continues to add that he and his wife would be happy to see Maxence again, should he ever come to Berlin, or if Ribbentrop's diplomatic duties permit him to visit Paris again.
