STREICHER JULIUS: (1885-1946) Nazi Gauleiter of Franconia 1929-40 and founder and publisher of Der Sturmer newspaper, a central element of the Nazi propaganda machine during World War II. Bold pencil signature ('Julius Streicher') and date, 1946, in his hand on an oblong 12mo card. Accompanied by an unsigned original 10 x 8 United States Army Signal Corps photograph of Streicher making his last statement to the court at the War Crimes Trial in Nuremberg on 31st August 1946 and a smaller 4 x 2.5 photograph of Streicher following his execution.
