MUSSOLINI RACHELE: (1890-1979) Second wife of Benito Mussolini. Vintage signed 4 x 6 postcard photograph of the elderly Mussolini seated in a half-length pose at a table, perhaps in her restaurant in her native village of Predappio. Signed to the verso in blue ink with her name alone. Together with Edda Mussolini (1910-1995) Daughter of Benito and Rachele Mussolini, wife of Count Galeazzo Ciano, the fascist propagandist and Foreign Minister. Blue ink signature ('Edda Ciano Mussolini') and a few additional words and the date, April 1983, in her hand to the verso of a colour picture postcard showing multiple views of the hotel Eden Gigli. A small magazine portrait of Mussolini is neatly affixed above the signature. Also including Vittorio Mussolini (1916-1997) Italian film critic and producer, son of Benito and Rachele Mussolini. Black ink signature ('Vittorio Mussolini') and date, 18th June 1981, to the verso of a colour picture postcard depicting an Italian church. A small magazine portrait of Mussolini is neatly affixed above the signature. VG, 3
