BERNARD DE SAINTES ANDRE: (1751-1818) André Antoine Bernard. French Magistrate and Convention Deputy. Rare A.L.S., Bernard, one page, 4to, n.p., 9th March 1794, to national Agent Mâcon, in French. The partially printed document bears the unusual heading of André Bernard´s republican name `Pioche Fer Bernard, People´s representative, Delegate of the National Convention´. Bernard de Saintes sends 41 copies of the agent´s declaration to be distributed among the peoples associations. The letter bears also the bonnet printed heading. Folded. VG £80-100
