AVED DE LOIZEROLLES JEAN SIMON: (1733-1794) King´s Counselor and Lieutenant General. Imprisoned during the Reign of Terror at St-Lazare together with his son, he is authorized to replace his son on the scaffold and is executed the day before the insurrection of the 9th Thermidor, his son surviving. A.L.S., in the third person, two pages, 4to, dated 1779, to Target a lawyer, in French. Aved de Loizerolles refers to Countess de Montesson and to Marshal Clermont Tonnerre.
