The present letter was written the 8th Thermidor, and refers to two of the last people sentenced to death and executed on the 9th Thermidor, the last day of executions before the insurrection. Fouquier-Tinville, in his capacity as Public Prosecutor of the Revolutionary Tribunal, states that according to the Public Safety Committee ` ..the citizens known as Peronnet Brillon-Bussé, Architect here present, and St-Hilare, without profession, have to be judged tomorrow..´ A historical content document.
