WELLINGTON DUKE OF: (1769-1852) Anglo-Irish Field Marshal & British Prime Minister 1828-30, 1834. A.L.S., Wellesley Wellington, three pages, 8vo, 1836, to Lord Canterbury. Wellington thanks his correspondent for his letter which he might read at the Lords Chamber and mentions not feeling concerned. He concludes saying that he intends to remain prudent but will come back to his correspondent if his presence would be recommended and necessary based on the situation.
