[TOUSSAINT LOUVERTURE FRANÇOIS]: Rare printed document, four pages, 4to, issued at Le Cap, Saint Domingue, 15th May 1800, in French. The document is entitled Settlement Toussaint Louverture. The French General, in his capacity as Chief General of the Saint Domingue army, orders the provisional requisition of all incomes corresponding to the absent residents, and use them to pay all the debts and salaries the Republic is owing and that the colony government will return to the residents once they will come back to the colony. With water stain to the centre fold and very slightly trimmed edges. G £100-150
