FRENCH GENERALS: Small selection of three excellent signed postcard photographs and one 5 x 7 photograph, by various French Generals, all of them depicting the military leaders wearing their uniforms, comprising Hubert Lyautey (1854-1934) French Marshal and colonial Administrator. First French Resident-General in Morocco. Signed and inscribed 5 x 7 photograph, the Eugene Pirou image depicting the French Marshal standing in a half length pose. Signed (`To my dear Jarno - Lyautey´), and dated in Rabat, 1914, in his hand. Henri Gouraud (1867-1946) French General during WWI. Signed and inscribed postcard photograph (`Gral Gouraud´); Noël Edouard de Castelnau (1851-1944) Vicomte de Courieres. French General during WWI, and Adolphe Guillaumat (1863-1940) French General during WWI. Signed and inscribed postcard photograph (`G. Guillaumat´), dated 11th November 1936 in his hand. All are signed in bold dark inks to clear areas of the images. VG, 4 £80-100
