[PHILIP IV]: (1605-1665) King of Spain 1621-65 and King Philip III of Portugal 1621-40. D.S., `Yo el Rey´, two pages, folio, Madrid, 5th June 1649, in Spanish. The document refers to a court sentence, condemning the nuns of Saint Teresa to return part of a property to Juan Albon, as this domain is under the Kingdom´s protection and was under the King´s predecessors too. Philip IV instructs Captain General of the Kingdom, Count of Montoro to intermediate and explain to the parties the reasons of such sentence. With an embossed paper seal affixed and countersigned by the King´s Counsellor With blank address leaf. De Villanueva. A few tears to the edge and overall age wear not affecting the signature.
