GEORGE V & EDWARD VIII: George V (1865-1936) King of the United Kingdom 1910-36, and EDWARD VIII: (1894-1972) King of the United Kingdom January-December 1936. Later Duke of Windsor. D.S., by both King George V ('George R.I.'), in pencil, as King at the head, and King Edward VIII ('Edward P.'), as Prince, in bold blue ink at the conclusion, two pages, folio, Court at Saint James's, 13th May 1924. The partially printed document is a British Empire military appointment, given to Major George Elliot Minchin Hogg, and bears an attractive blind embossed seal at the heading.
