GIGLI BENIAMINO: (1890-1957) Italian Tenor. A very fine signed and inscribed 6.5 x 9.5 photograph (16.5 cm x 23.5 cm), `Beniamino Gigli´, the Teatro Alla Scala image, from Milan, depicting Gigli in a half-length pose, in costume, as Chevalier des Grieux, in Puccini´s opera Manon Lescaut (1892). Signed and inscribed in Italian, in bold dark blue ink, `to Nuria… a conscientious and intelligent artist, with admiration, Beniamino Gigli´, to the lower part of the image. VG
