PENN ARTHUR: (1922-2010) American film director. Vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Penn standing in a three-quarter length pose alongside actors Marlon Brando, in costume as Sheriff Calder and seated at his desk, and E. G. Marshall, in costume as Val Rogers, as they discuss a scene on the set of the drama film The Chase (1966). Signed by Penn in fountain pen ink, largely across a dark area of the image. About EX
Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
