THATCHER MARGARET: (1925-2013) British Prime Minister 1979-90. Signed 3 x 5 photograph of the Prime Minister in a head and shoulders pose with one hand raised to the side of her face. Signed in blue ink with her name alone to the lower white border. Accompanied by a letter of transmittal from 10 Downing Street, dated 21st September 1981, and the original envelope. Together with Denis Thatcher (1915-2003) English businessman, husband of Margaret Thatcher. Signed 6.5 x 9.5 photograph of Thatcher seated in a half-length pose. Photograph by S. Djukanovic of Bromley, Kent, and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Thatcher in bold black fountain pen ink to the lower white border. Accompanied by an A.L.S., Denis Thatcher, one page, 8vo, London, 24th July n.y., to Barrie, on the printed stationery of 10 Downing Street. Thatcher thanks his correspondent for their letter and forwards the signed photograph, remarking 'It is not as distinguished as the rest of your collection but it comes with my best wishes'. Also including Mark Thatcher (1953- ) English businessman, son of Margaret and Denis Thatcher.
