Accompanied by a letter of transmittal from 10 Downing Street, dated 21 st September 1981, and the original envelope. Together with Denis Thatcher (1915-2003) English businessman, husband of Margaret Thatcher. Signed 6.5 x 9.5 photograph of Thatcher seated in a half-length pose. Photograph by S. Djukanovic of Bromley, Kent, and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Thatcher in bold black fountain pen ink to the lower white border. Accompanied by an A.L.S., Denis Thatcher , one page, 8vo, London, 24 th July n.y., to Barrie, on the printed stationery of 10 Downing Street. Thatcher thanks his correspondent for their letter and forwards the signed photograph, remarking 'It is not as distinguished as the rest of your collection but it comes with my best wishes' .
