The Maharaja writes, in full, 'You told me in Delhi that you wanted to see me about something. I am afraid I was unable to find time during our very crowded week but can you tell me now what it is you desired to refer to me'. Small area of paper loss to the upper left corner; SCINDIA MADHO RAO (1876-1925) Maharaja of Gwalior 1886-1925. T.L.S., M Scindia, one page, 8vo, Rock Dene, Delhi, 23rd January 1920, to [Sir Edward] Buck. The Maharaja thanks his correspondent for their letter and a book, continuing 'I will write to you as soon as I have read it. I am sorry I have not got more copies of the speech than I gave you'.
