PAGNOL MARCEL: (1895-1974) French Filmmaker and Novelist. Signed menu, a slim printed 5 x 10 card, one page, Pzenas, 15th June 1947, in French. The printed menu commemorates the fifty years of the Pzenas Moliere Monument, and is held by the city exhibition fair committee. Signed in bold black ink (`Marcel Pagnol«) to the front. Also signed by three more personalities to the front and four more to the verso, including Pagnol«s wife and muse, the French actress Jacqueline Bouvier (1920-2016), also signed by French actress and writer Jacqueline Cartier (1922-2017). Small overall minor age wear, otherwise G £100-150 The Moliere Monument in Pezenas, south-east of France, is a sculpture of 1897 by Jean-Antonin Injalbert (1845-1933)
