BENAVENTE JACINTO: (1866-1954) Spanish Dramatist, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1922. An excellent vintage signed postcard photograph, `Jacinto Benavente«, with a four lines statement in his hand, in Spanish, the image showing the Spanish writer seated in a half length pose. In bold black ink, Benavente annotates to the right border partially clear area of the image `The true style of a writer is only known during the moments that he forgets the style, with the true education of people, during the time they forget education«, also dated to the left border his hand, July 1908. Addressed and post-stamped to the verso. VG £250-350
