BIGORIE DU CHAMBON AUBIN: (1757-1793) French Convention Deputy who voted in favour of King Louis XVI death sentence. Member of the Girondins political faction. Assassinated at the early age of 36. Rare D.S., Chambon, one page, folio, Paris, 14th April 1793, to Jean Jacques Lefebre, in French. The partially printed document, bearing an attractive heading of the French Republic Convention, approves Lefebre help request who is `..father of ten children, six of them serving the homeland on different fronts, the others being still young..«. Countersigned by members of the Convention Franois Mellinet, short before his death, and Joseph Becker. With a paper seal affixed to the lower part of the front page. VG £100-120
