HUSSEIN SADDAM: (1937-2006) President of Iraq 1979-2003. D.S., Saddam Hussein, in Arabic, one page, green paper, folio, n.p., 30th Yomada 1416, (24th October 1995), in Arabic. The partially printed document, bearing at the heading a blind embossed eagle seal, is a presidential decree adopted by the Presidency of the Republic of Irak, stating that according to the article 56 of the constitution, they instruct former Lieutenant Colonel Rafaa Lattif Talqah to return to the military service as Colonel from the day of today. Signed in black ink by Saddam Hussein in his capacity as President of the Republic of Irak. Four small pinholes to the right border, none affecting the text or signature. About EX £500-600
