CHIANG KAI-SHEK: (1887-1975) Chinese Political and Military Leader of the Republic of China 1928-75. Signed 3 x 5.5 card, in bold black ink and in Chinese characters by the Generalissimo. Accompanied by the original envelope sent from the office of the President of the Republic of China, post-stamped, and dated in 1961. Together with a first day of issue envelope, post-stamped and dated in July 1942, on the occasion of the ''5 Years War with Japan - 1937-1942, `Fight the War« and Build the Country'' printed text, bearing a large and attractive printed image of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek. Very small age wear, otherwise VG £150-200
