SAINT SAËNS CAMILLE: (1835-1921) French Composer. A.L.S., C. Saint-Saëns, three pages, 8vo, Paris, 12th April 1892, to Mr. Berger, in French. Saint-Saëns states ´I was told yesterday evening at The Français how kind you were towards myself during the awards ceremony at the Conservatoire ´ further saying `You know that I am not one of the two who abandoned you at the last moment; I remained loyal to you till the end.´ The letter bears an attractive crowned Imperial Century watermark.
