VILLON JACQUES: (1875-1963) Also known as Gaston Duchamp. French Cubist Painter and Printmaker. A good A.L.S., Jacques Villon, signed twice also to the verso, one page, small 4to, Conches-en-Ouche, Eure, 25th July 1950, to Monsieur G. Hendrickx, a Belgian engraver, in French. An interesting artists works exchange, Villon stating in part `I am flattered by your proposal you have kindly offered, but twelve engravings are too many and I do not have enough for such an exchange I will be happy to make this exchange because your engravings have interested me to a very high level..´ The folded letter being post-stamped to the verso. With two extremely small paper loss areas to the edges as a result of the letter opening. G £80-100
