CAMUS ALBERT: (1913-1960) French Author and Philosopher. Nobel Prize winner in Literature, 1957. A.N. by Camus, three lines, to a T.L. corresponding to an Albert Maquet work, one page, folio, n.p., n.d., in French. Maquet´s typed text refers to La Peste, (''The Plague''), 1947, and to Camus´ plays. Small pencil annotation in Camus´ hand to the upper border, indicating it corresponds to Maquet´s paragraph `We have spoken about a failed work. We convey that the characters are pure abstractions endowed with mimicry and speech; the dialogues a succession of confronted ideas..´, Camus stating `It is true. But it is a kind of like in the middle age, or an auto-sacramental like in Spain. And this literary style is based on allegories.´ A very interesting literary annotation by Camus related to Maquet´s draft. EX £400-500
