Archiep.[iscop]us Rossanen. Nunt.s Ap.licus´, one page, oblong 4toparchment, `Cordubae´ Cordoba, Spain, 12th March 1569, in Latin. Urban VII in his capacity as `Hispaniax Regnis Nuntius'', Apostolic Nuncio to Spain 1565-72, under King Philip II, signs in bold dark ink at the base of the document, and states in part `..compacienzia tibi canonice conferends etia si canonicate et prebendae dignitates in catedralibus etia metropolitanis nel collegiatis existanti..´ Countersigned at the base. Folded, with a hole at the base as a result of the opening and removing of former seal. Few small holes to the document, none affecting the signature. Overall age wear. F £600-900
