ORLOV NIKOLAY: (1827-1885) Prince Orloff. Russian Diplomat and close friend to Emperor Alexander III. Ambassador of Russia to Paris and Brussels 1859-69. A liberal mind and respected Diplomat. Two A.Ls.S., and a carte de visite, signed three times, `Pce. Orloff´, `N. Orloff´ and `Prince Orloff´, three pages each, 8vo, dated Bellefontaine Fontainebleau, 2nd June 1870, and 16th July 1881, with embossed crowned seals to the headings, both in French. Prince Orloff states in part `The arrival of the Grand Duchess Marie Alexandrovna and the Grand Dukes Serge and Paul will prevent me of visiting you at four. Usually, during the Princes stay I hardly have free time
