PARIS GARDE NATIONALE TITLE: An attractive title of the Garde Nationale of Paris, one page, oblong 10 x 8, Paris, 7th September 1789, less than two months after the Storming of the Bastille, issued in favour of fusilier François Pernes, in French. The attractive multiple signed partially printed document bearing revolutionary emblems and military weapons to the heading. The title includes physical descriptions of Pernes, such as his nose, height, eyes, mouth, etc
The title permits the carrying of arms and bears a red wax seal to the left border. Folded, overall age wear, creasing and staining. F to G £120-200
