ARMSTRONG LOUIS: (1901-1971) American Jazz Trumpeter. A good, vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph depicting Armstrong in a head and shoulders pose playing his trumpet. Photograph by Bill Gottlieb of New York. Signed by Armstrong in green fountain pen ink, 'Best Wishes to Jack Tracy from Louis Armstrong', his surname partially running into a darker area. A few very minor, light surface creases, otherwise VG £200-300 Jack Tracy was editor of the American Down Beat magazine in the 1950s.
