OPERA & OPERETTA SINGERS: A good selection of six signed photographs, various sizes, by various opera & operetta singers, comprising Georges Thill (1897-1984) widely regarded as France greatest lyric-dramatic tenor. Two fountain-pen ink signed 5 x 7 and 4 x 6 photographs; Maurice Chevalier (1888-1972) Best known French Entertainer. Signed and inscribed 4 x 6 photograph, to Janine Cartier, a Hacourt image; José Luccioni (1903-1978) Corsican tenor, one of the best dramatic voices of the 1930s and 1940´s. The image depicting him in costume as Canio, in Leoncavallo´s opera Pagliacci (1892). Signed and inscribed 7 x 9 photograph, in fountain pen ink, 1952; Aldo Protti (1920-1995) Italian Baritone. Signed 5 x 7 photograph in fountain pen ink, and Reda Caire (1905-1963) a very popular French operetta singer. Signed and inscribed postcard photograph, a Piaz image. All are signed in bold ink to clear areas of the images. VG, 6 £80-120
