PISSARRO CAMILLE: (1830-1903) French Impressionist Painter, often regarded as the father of the painting movement. A.L.S., `C. Pissarro´, two pages, 8vo, Eure, 29th November 1895, to his son Felix, in French. Pissarro, in his usual careful and clean handwriting, states in part `I have received your letter this morning. The painting which has been sold is the port one with ships. I send the pharmaceuticals to Georges, now that you have forwarded to me his address, you do not tell me the name of the painter where he is staying with..´ Pissarro further refers to several family and friends matters, further saying `I might go to Paris on Monday.. I have no time to write to Georges, here you have the inconvenient of being separated.´ Very small overall minor age wear with right edge only very slightly trimmed, otherwise about VG £800-1200
