LAURENCIN MARIE: (1883-1956) French Painter. Laurencin was a renowned avant-garde Cubist figure in the Parisian artistic circles. A.L.S., `Marie Laurencin´, one page, 12mo, 7 Rue Masseran, Paris, April 1920, to a Doctor, in French. Laurencin explains to her doctor how she feels, and states in part `..I am very thirsty, and my mouth is pasty, what do you think about getting a blood test? Am in your hands..´ A cleanly written letter by Laurencin. With blank integral leaf. Accompanied by the original envelope in Laurencin´s hand. VG £120-180
