GREY EARL: (1764-1845) British Prime Minister 1830-1834. A.L.S., Grey, two pages, 8vo, Downing Street, 25th June 1832, to 'My Dear Lord', marked 'Private'. Grey writes concerning some Bills which 'must depend chiefly on the opposition' and which it is impossible for him to speak about, although remarking 'But I don't think they can get through the House of Lords before the week after next. Wednesday 11th I think would therefore be the earliest day that you could fix for the City Dinner, but even this cannot be certain'. Some very light, minor traces of former mounting to the left edge, otherwise VG £200-300
