WWII 1944 Photo Album of a Jewish Girl - Occupied Paris, Withdrawal of Nazis, Yellow Badge
Album containing photographs and documents, Paris, 1944, during the withdrawal of the Nazis and the first year of the city's new independence. The album belonged to a Dutch Jewish woman who lived in France under Nazi rule, apparently with fake documents.
Approximately 200 photos mostly showing daily and family life in Paris during the withdrawal and the months after. Approximately 23 certificates & documents including French food ration tickets from the Nazi occupation, Nazi documents and a Yellow badge. Most of the photos are up to 9x6 cm, some bigger.
Good general condition, several photos are missing from the album, wear and tear on the cover and pages of the album, not damaging the photos and documents.
Attached to the album are 18 more documents and paper items, mostly from 1941-1945, an armband of the Dutch resistance and a banknote from Theresienstadt concentration camp.
Also attached – a Dutch Anti Nazi illustration book from Amsterdam 1945, in album format:
